ColorMixer privacy policy
Applies to ColorMixer for iPhone and iPad.
Updated 25 October 2026.
Your colors, recipes and photos
ColorMixer does not require an app account. My Colors and saved mixing recipes are stored on your device. Photos selected or captured for color picking are processed on the device and are not uploaded to us or to Firebase Analytics. Camera access is requested when you choose to use the camera.
App analytics
ColorMixer uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and improve the app. This service collects app and device identifiers, app interactions such as screen views and sessions, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, and in-app purchase events such as the product identifier and price.
Analytics events can be associated with a persistent app-instance or device identifier. We therefore disclose these categories as linked to the user in the App Store privacy information. ColorMixer does not set an account-based analytics user ID.
We use this information for analytics only. ColorMixer has no advertisements, and its analytics project is not used for Google Ads, Google signals or advertising data sharing. We do not use this data to track you across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Google processes analytics data under its applicable terms and retention settings. Read Privacy and Security in Firebase and Google's privacy policy for more information.
Purchases
Apple handles purchase payments and purchase restoration. ColorMixer stores the unlock state on your device. We do not receive your payment-card details. Firebase Analytics may measure purchase events as described above.
Paint-library downloads
The app downloads paint catalogs from our GitHub Pages site. Requests are handled by GitHub and its infrastructure; see GitHub's privacy statement. Your saved colors, recipes and selected photos are not sent with these catalog requests.
Control and contact
You can manage camera access in your device settings, remove saved colors and recipes in the app, and remove the app's local data by uninstalling it. Device backups are managed separately by you and Apple. For privacy questions or requests about analytics data, contact ideamats@gmail.com. Because ColorMixer has no app account, we may need additional information to determine whether analytics data can be associated with your request.
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond. Avoid sending unnecessary personal information or private photos.
Changes
We will update this page when these practices change. This policy describes the iPhone and iPad app; other platforms and external websites may have separate privacy information.
